COGIC’s General Council of Pastors and Elders COGIC had such a great experience with my team through the app we created for their AIM convention that they tapped us again for another event app. The GCPE app had all the same features as the AIM app, but we didn’t want to deliver “more of the same,” so we gave the app a face lift. [one_half] The Church of God in Christ (COGIC) has an annual gathering of their leaders called the General Council of Pastors & Elders (GCPE). This annual event attracts thousands of visitors each year, and they needed an event app to make information easier to find for attendees, and easier to broadcast for supervisors. COGIC had such a great experience with my team through the app we created for their AIM convention that they tapped us again for another event app. The GCPE app had all the same features as the AIM app, but we didn’t want to deliver “more of the same,” so we gave the app a face lift. [/one_half] [one_half_last] I reconfigured the user experience to help remove the pain points that we discovered in the AIM app, and I also created a layout that didn’t cater to either iOS or Android operating systems. This made it so that the app delivered the same experience regardless of device, and would look the same regardless of changes in operating systems. The client was incredibly pleased with the end result. My employer was even more pleased. They used my design for this app as the base for the latest iteration of Twelve Apps. [/one_half_last]
